Computers ELO test ( BT-2630 )
Testing rules
The BT-2630 test contains 30 test positions from all areas of a chess game. Each position must be calculated 15 minutes on the analysis level. The time that was needed to find the required solution as the main variation is included in the calculation. It is important that the solution move is kept constant until the end of the 15 minutes! If the move that has already been found is discarded again within these 15 minutes, 15 minutes must be noted as the solution time. If a piece of equipment once again has no idea of the corresponding position and cannot find the appropriate solution move, another 15 minutes are noted. These 30 times must be added to a total time (GZ) and used in the following formula.
New formula:
BT = 2630 - 2 x GZ (GZ in minutes)
BT = 2630 - GZ / 30 (GZ in seconds)
